Evelyn Wise, aged 91, passed away Saturday morning, March 19, 2022 at her home in Westminster Village, Muncie Indiana. She was born August 18, 1930 in Bradford, OH, the daughter of Reuben Seman and Rosa Belle (Foreman) Seman.
She was a 1949 graduate of Greenville High School, Greenville, OH. She married David M. Wise on April 16, 1950. She was a devoted wife for 48 years until David passed away in 1998. Evelyn and David founded Wise Supply Co. in Union City, IN 1957. She and David worked side-by-side for many years until their son, Dwight, and his wife, Donna, took over operating the business.
Most recently, Evelyn resided at Westminster Village in Muncie, IN. Evelyn was the youngest of six children. Above all else, she loved her family and was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by 4 children, Dwight Wise (Donna), Elaine Anderson (Dennis), Marsha Zeller (Bob) and Brenda Campbell, 9 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Wise, Duane Wise (infant son), a sonin-law (James Campbell) and 2 grandsons.
A memorial celebration will be held at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Road., Union City, IN at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 26th.
