JOYNER WINSTON-SALEM Jacquelyn Ann Joyner May 1, 2011 God has plucked a flower from His Garden. Our beloved sister, aunt, and great-aunt, Jacquelyn Ann Joyner, 63, departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, May 1, 2011. "Jackie" was born to the late James and Ethel Joyner. She graduated from the WSFC Schools after which she spent a large portion of her adult life as a caregiver. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and her niece. She is survived by two brothers, James Joyner and Brian Peterson; three sisters, Michel Joyner, Vickie (Bishop Donald) Keaton all of Winston-Salem, NC and Cheryl (Lewis) Boggan of Dallas, GA; sister-in-law, Frances Joyner of Washington, DC; special friends, Jerome and Doris Gunning; other relatives and friends. Homegoing services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Ministry for Christ Church, Inc. with Bishop Donald E. Keaton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Saturday at the Church. The family may be contacted at the home of her sister, 2801 Bon Air Avenue Winston-Salem, NC.
