John Junior Newman passed away on November 5, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 16, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, 3135 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, N.C. beginning at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Trellis Supportive Care, Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, N.C. 27103.

John was a great and helpful neighbor. I appreciated our backyard, over the fence chats. I looked forward to seeing him wave from his back deck while he was grilling or just sitting and enjoying the sunshine.
He loved his family and his dog. Although he is missed already, it is comforting to think that he is reunited with his wife, son, and family.

You were a great neighbor. We always enjoyed chatting with you when you were on your walks with Benny and both always enjoyed seeing your smile when you would drive by when we were outside or going to work.
