To all LeeAnn's family & friends:

I worked with LeeAnn some years ago when we both were working in the home care field. She struck me at that time as an extraordinary person, full of compassion and dedication to people. She always went above and beyond the call of duty and was always there for her patients. She had a sweet spirit about her that just endeared her more to her colleagues and patients.

My most sincere condolences to all of the family.

Dear the family of Mrs. Le Ann Lennon,

My deepest sympathy goes out to you as you are facing horrific news of a tragic death. I am a student at the school the Mrs. Lennon taught at named Stephen Karagiorgis in the seventh grade. Even though I did not see Mrs. Lennon in her best health, I still noticed the great person she was every day she was teaching at Thomas Jefferson Middle. I am truly sorry about the news and I will keep you, the family of Mrs. Lee Ann Lennon in my prayers along with Mrs. Lennon herself. Again, I am very sorry of the horrific news and my God be with you all.

Know that Lee Ann has deeply touched the lives of all of us and it is our mission at TJMS to pass this along to all of the lives we continue to reach. We will do our best to pass along the love and caring nature that Lee Ann would want to share with our students. God Bless you all!

I wanted to share with you that your family was mentioned in the prayer concerns by our Sunday School class at First Baptist Church - by people that you have never met - because your daughter impacted the lives of their children at Jefferson.

All of us on the BNI team are praying for your family. Even in the face of this kind of loss you remain forever optimistic and all smiles. You are an inspiration to us all.

Lee Ann and I met when our daughters were in Kindergarten together, dance together and Daisy's together. We spent a lot of time running in the same circles that year stopping periodically to have a drink at Panara Bread or share a car ride to wherever we were headed. Lee Ann was one of the dearest friends I have ever had!!! She was the kindess, most sincere person I have ever been fortunate enough to have known and she was a GREAT mom! I have been devastated by her death and will forever miss her!! I want Stacey and Grace to know that Kayla, Katelyn, Lou and I are thinking about them constantly and we are here for you if you need anything.

We LOVE you Lee Ann!!!!!!!!

Another memory of her sticks out in my mind--It is of her coming to my Christmas Tree lot with her daughter and husband this past year. And, as sick as she was at that time--just wanting to have a Christmas Tree for her family to enjoy. We will miss her smile and kind, giving nature at our school!

Although I have not seen Lee Ann in 20 years she is forever part of my childhood memories. She and I went to school together, skated together, and just spent time together. Recently, I had just reconnected with a mutual friend who had told me where Lee Ann was working and a bit about her life and I had plans to contact her and rekindle our friendship. I regret not acting sooner. Our busy lives should never get in the way of friendship. May God Bless her family and all that love her.

Dear Lennon and Porter family,

My family and I would like to share our deepest sympathy for your tragic and sudden loss. Lee Ann and I worked together at Jefferson Middle. She and I shared lesson plans, long talks, endless Science workshops, and laughter. When she entered the teaching professon I was assigned to be her Mentor. Her dedication and attention to detail made her seem more like a seasoned veteran than a novice in front of the classroom. We felt blessed to have her on the staff. She touched the lives of hundreds of students, my daughter Morgan included. Through them, Grace, and her extended family, she lives on. What a wonderful life to celebrate !
