"Pink Lloyd" met for years with our Braided Cord Bible study group every Saturday morning at 6am. He was always quick for a joke and wanted to make us laugh. He loved the Lord and never hid any of his struggles and was just so sincere in his faith. God speed brother. You will be missed.

Lloyd was involved with our group "Braided Cord" for years and he epitomized the meaning of our credo of Ecclessiates 4:12. On behalf of myself and all of our BC group, we will truly miss our friend and the influence he had on our lives. May he rest peacefully with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As a member of New Canaan Society/Winston Salem chapter, I got to know Lloyd and appreciate his wit. His faith was almost always evident. There weren´t many dry a few issues that could take him off course. I had planned on attending the memorial service, but a calendar conflict prevented it.
We, as brothers-in-Christ, held our own memorial service for him in Winston Salem.
May he rest in peace.

A BB&T workmate in Winston Salem, Lloyd was a great guy. Met him at Burke Street Pizza just last year (April 2024) to catch up (I now live in Tennessee). He overslept and forgot his wallet - which we laughed about after he showed! I am truly sorry his spirit has moved on. He had mentioned health, without elaborating. He did elaborate on his Faith! RIP big man. Hope his loved ones and friends far and near (and Eastern NC) cope with our loss.

Lloyd and I have been close friends for years because we are both quick with laughter and quick with one liners.
It was such a thrill when Lloyd told of how Jesus paid the price to save his soul.
Lloyd can make you laugh with humor and cry with joy.
We might not always remember what he said and did, but we'll never forget how he made us feel!
