To the family of Mechel Heckman words cannot describe how deeply sorry I am for the loss of your child. I graduated a year before Mechel I knew her thru some friends of mine and I seen her around school. Being 19 years old and having a child myself I cannot imagine ever losing him.We never quite understand whay these tragedies happen the way they do but just know that God took her for a reason and that she is in a better place. Time will never heal your pain but just remember that one beautiful day youll be with her again.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Christ offers us Hope, the days ahead will be difficult I lost my only son Ryan on June 28, 2003 a classmate of Mechel's in a tragic car accident in Fla. that killed three fine young men and left one severely injured. You're life will never be the same and the hurt will continue, just be thankful for the years you had together and the memories. They are in a better place and God's purpose for our life remains so just take one day at a time. May God Bless!

Mechel was a girl who would brighten anyones day, i loved working with her not only because she was a great girl to work with but also because she was sincere and sweet, i do not understand many things in this world but i am guessing that this is part of a bigger plan. I will not forget the great times i had with her at the "hooty hoo" in winston, i only wish i could have known her better. her family is in my prayers, and will be because this type of pain does not pass in minutes, hours, days, or even years..... much love

Tho I never knew her, her father sure was proud. Raising children is so hard to do, but not as hard as what you're going thru now. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Scott, Stacy and Hayden.

Mechel was a sweetheart. It was great working with her, even though she wasn't with us that long. She was good at what she did, and always had a smile on her face. I am sure she will be greatly missed. We will all meet again one beautiful day!
