When I first moved to North Carolina, in 1978, one of the first neighbors I
met was Janice. Her son Brian and my son Derek and daughter Wendy got along good and went to school together. Even when she and Brian moved to Georgia, we still stayed in touch writing letters back and forth. Was so glad when she let me know she was moving back to N.C. She and I picked up right where we left off. Laughing and cutting up. Years later I moved to Fl., and Janice had married Bruce and they made the trip to Fl. for a few days visit. Janice had a special light that glowed over her. Her eyes always full of laughter. Having a special friend like Janice in my life was up-lifting. She will forever be smiling down on every life she has touched.

I met Janice a year ago and we hit it off from the beginning. Janice was someone who drew people to her by her befriending manner, and her love of the Lord. It shined so beautifully through her. I remember long conversations with her about how God had always blessed her life, that He was always opening doors for her needs in the most beautiful way. Her faith was contagious and am sure touched many people, as it did me. When I go to missing her, I go back to our talks about how she would continue to use that extra measure of hope and trust that God had instilled in her till Jesus took her home. Once there she knew that she would be healed, whole, and receive her true reward through eternity.

Praying for the Holy Spirit to minister to those who are mourning her, by filling them of joyous memories of Janice.

Janice was so sweet and just had this peaceful and overwhelming aura of joy and love every time you came in contact with her.. I loved the book she wrote and the joy in which she lived I will never forget. I'm saddened that I will not get to see her again but know that she is with Jesus where she will never be in any more pain. She will be missed and cherished by all. Praying for her family during this time and pray that God's peace and comfort surround each and every one of you. May the spirit of Janice live on and the grace in which she lived be remembered. Janice reminded me of a graceful soul, like a swan upon the water.. May the God of peace give each and every family member unexplainable comfort and joy with happy memories knowing that she is now dancing around the throne of God.. God bless you all.

We are praying for you, Bruce and your family. Sadly I never met Janice but my husband interacted with her over the last year that we have been neighbors. When we moved in she brought our son the book she wrote and we will treasure that gift.

Janice was a beautiful soul! She was my good neighbor and friend for many years. I cherish many wonderful memories of her in the neighborhood and at the gym where she was a Silver Sneakers instructor. She loved all her family, neighbors and friends dearly. We all know she is now in heaven with our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
