Bonnie & Robin - I am so very sorry to hear about Tommy! I was not even aware that he was sick and did not know until Daddy was on the way to the funeral home that this had happened. All 3 of you have always held such a special place in my heart, you and all the "original" ball players and families helped make my childhood one of the best a kid could ever ask for! We were all one big happy family and I wish we would have had reunions or something to keep us all in touch more. I remember all the nights I spent at you house and would always whisper to you (Bonnie), "why does Tommy always look at me like he is mad at me?" and you would just giggle that sweet giggle that I think probably only you and my precious Mama had and say "he's not mad at you Boo Boo, he's picking on you!" I would not trade those memories for all the money in the world! And we have lost so many, MawMaw, PawPaw, Lance, Little Woody, Mama, now Tommy and I know there are probably several I don't know of, but one thing is certain, he knew how loved he was and one day we will have the biggest reunion of all! and it will be forever! I love you both and I am praying for you lots!

It is hard to have to say goodbye to Tommy as I so enjoyed his company and the many meals I enjoyed with him, Bonnie and family.
We always ended up talking about the races as we liked the same driver.
May we all find comfort in his release from the suffering.
I pray that God will provide peace to all of you.

Tommy was well known to me . I worked 43 years in Charlotte and was a member of IBEW and a shop steward for many years . Tommy was on of the good guys always fun to see him at anytime .. spent some of our retirement years with the guys breakfast here in Charlotte . He will be missed by me and anyone that had any contact with him..
May he now rest in the hands of Christ our lord.
