I remember Miss Veronica Bambao very, very well. I recall having been chosen to represent Saint James Academy at the LIDICSA declamation contest held at St. Bridget's College. Miss Bambao chose a very hard piece for me - Edgar Alan Poe's "The Telltale Heart." Between her and my mother (the late Magdalena P, Caringal Perez), practice, practice, and practice was like studying for the boards - it was intense and rigid. I thank these two women for helping me win a Silver Medal in the contest. You will ALWAYS be in my heart, Miss Bambao.

I have been truely blessed to have been a part of Mrs. Jacinto's life for a little over a year. She was a wonderful woman who was always smiling and kind. Every day that I would see her she always had something nice to say. She was loved and will be missed by all. - Hannah Adams

"Veronica will tremendously missed, yet never forgotten. Her infectious smile, laughter, elegance, warmth and charm touched us all. She became so much more than a resident to the Brighton Gardens Community; she became our family....and was so loved by us all." Sandra Self, RN
