Ginny, Suzanne, Rob, Walt, and families,
I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of my favorite, former residents that I had the privilege to help take care of while I worked at KRAL, "W.J." He was always such a kind man and I not only enjoyed seeing him everyday but his wonderful, loving, and caring children and family, who visited every day and was so faithful to be there for him. I still have many memories of him not only there in his last few years but just from having grown up in Kernersville and going into the store on North Main Street. As I had written an article in the KRAL newsletter when I first came to work there, I fondly remember a happier time when going into Western Auto and smelling the rubber and seeing the toys that were there sometimes, as well as the creaking of the wooden floor. They were memories that I remember well. It was like a trip down memory lane coming to work and seeing both him and Mary Dell everyday. They must have been very fine parents to have raised such dedicated children. Not only do I pray that God will ease your painful loss but wrap His arms around each of you individually and comfort you, and that you will actually feel His presence and assurance that one day, if you are ready, he will greet you, alongside your mother, in heaven. He is no longer suffering or scooting around in a wheelchair with arthritis, but is enjoying a new body, free from sickness and disease and is rejoined with the "love of his life," your sweet and gentle mother. I pray that each and every one of you will be paid back with the same dedicated, loving, and caring families in your last years as you gave to your parents. I often said "you all must have had the best and most loving parents for all of you to take such good care of them and work together as a family, being the most dedicated of any that I took care of while at KRAL! My prayers are with you now and in the days to come!

I'm so sorry about the passing of Mr. Johnson. He was a great man and had a wonderful wife and family. He will be sorely missed. My family and I send our condolences to all of his children and their spouses, as well as to all of his grandchildren.
