Gordon David Sullivan

Gordon David Sullivan Lansing, Michigan/ West Winfield, NY Gordon David Sullivan, age 63, passed Wednesday, February 21, 2024. He was a graduate of Mt. Markham High School, West Winfield in 1978. He was employed for many years with various airlines and fixed base operations. Which led him to live and explore several states across the U.S. Until finally settling in Michigan. In 1994 Gordon married Shannon Sullivan (Moynahan) on March 17th, St. Patrick's Day. During their 29 years of marriage, Gordon and Shannon were blessed with 3 children; Andrew (28), Aaron (27), and Molly (23). Gordon worked a multitude of jobs to support his family, eventually leading him to start his own general contracting business "Sullivan's Maintenance and Repair." Though his work ethic was unparalleled Gordon always made time for the things he loved In life. Gordon loved gardening, raising animals, fishing, and spending time all across Northern Michigan. Most of all Gordon loved the time he spent his family. He is predeceased by his father David, his brother Gerald and sister in law Kathleen, his father and mother in law John-Patrick and Constance (Culver) Moynahan, brother in law Shawn Moynahan, and brother in law Randy Fairhurst. Gordon is survived by his wife and three children, his mother Beverly (Lowell), his siblings Keith (Christine), Wayne (Rhonda Bauer), Cynthia (William) Robinson, Diane (Jere) Blackwell, Raymond (Joann), Rebecca Sullivan, Theresa (Michael) Goduto, Patricia (Michael) Glossop, Michael (Mary Helen) Moynahan, Kevin (Barbara) Moynahan, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews who all adored him. Gordon left a profound impact on everyone he crossed paths with and it was said, "to know him was to love him." He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Services will be held at St. Joseph the Worker (West Winfield Church) on Monday March 4th, 2024 at 12:00pm. There are no public calling hours, the family will receive visitors at the conclusion of the Funeral Mass in the Church Reception Hall.
