Trevor D. Noonan

Trevor Noonan, age 37, of Floyd, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at MVHS Wynn Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, with his loved ones by his side. Born in Rome, NY, on January 4, 1988, Trevor was the son of Eugene and Susan (Cookinham) Noonan. Trevor graduated from Poland Central School. He furthered his education at SUNYIT, earning a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering. Trevor was a design engineer at National Grid, and previously worked at Barrett Paving. Trevor was a true problem solver, coming up with solutions and designs for any project he could get his hands on. He loved to travel and explore new places, including Barbados, New Zealand, Thailand, and Grenada. Trevor was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed riding, going to camp, and hiking with friends and family. He was very into fitness, and held friendships he made through the gym very close to his heart. In addition to his parents, Trevor is survived by a sister, Kathryn (Brian) Baillie; a brother, Travis Noonan; a nephew, Mitchell; and two nieces, Emelyn and Quinn. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Ken (Teddy) Noonan, Joyce (Scott) Walerstein, Ardythe (Wayne) Heiser, Sandy (Roy) Darrow, and Tom (Leona) Cookinham; and many cousins and friends, including a special friend, Hannah Payne, and his beloved dog, Scout. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Eugene and Evelyn Noonan, and Edward and Kathryn Cookinham; a close friend, Jim Johnson; as well as his loyal K-9 companion, Addy.
