Well Mrs. Jackson this is it HEH? Again, thank you for helping me as the new teacher fresh from Paine College that taught History next door to you at Johnson High. The moment I met you, instantly I felt the love and passion you had not only for teaching but for your fellow man. through the years we ran into each other here and there but to know that I will not be able to stand and hold a conversation physically with you again fills me with great emptiness. Again, thank you for all that you've done for me in my educational endeavors and of course you will always live within me forever even until the end of my time. Lester, just smile because God makes no mistake. You had a GREAT MOM.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Annie C. Jackson. Her sincere and genuine spirit was indubitably God given, and his Spirit was certainly in her and on her. She and my mother were co-workers at Johnson, and she always shares how grateful she was to her because she gave her rides to work. She adopted me as her "godson", and I will remember her delicious pound cake! It is my prayer that precious memories will surround her family and comfort them at this most difficult time.
