Phyllis J. White, 94, formerly of New Vienna, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Ohio Living Cape May. Her husband, Edwin White, is preceded in death. Mrs. White was born June 22, 1928 in New Vienna, daughter of the late Gene and Edna Tilton. She was a graduate of New Vienna High School.
Mrs. White worked as the executive secretary at Wells Mfg. Co. in New Vienna for Harold Uible, attorney at law. She was a longtime faithful member of the New Vienna Church of Christ. Phyllis was a kind and wonderful friend. She will be greatly missed!
She is survived by longtime friends, Richard and Joyce Fisher of Wilmington, Ohio and Delbert and Sandy Morrow of New Vienna, Ohio, as well as many other good friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by good friends Paul and Julia Hakes.
Friends will be received from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the New Vienna Church of Christ, 148 West Street, New Vienna, Ohio. A funeral service with Brad Clouse officiating will begin at 11:00 AM, Thursday. Burial will follow in New Vienna I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

I worked with Phyllis for many years in New Vienna. She always had a beautiful smile and was so helpful. She will be missed.
