Virginia Klinekole Obituary
Mrs. Klinekole passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011, in Alamogordo. She was born June 13, 1924, in Three Rivers and lived there all of her life. She was a Tularosa Public School educational liaison for the Mescalero Apache tribe for 19 years, served on the Mescalero Apache Tribal Council from 1959 until 1986 and had served as the chairwoman.
She is survived by her children, Bruce W. Klinekole II, Gregg A. Klinekole, Gina R. Klinekole and Ruth "Wonzie"x Klinekole Tiger; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Your mother was a wonderful. mom. I shall miss that smile that lit up her face. She had a kind and loving heart and her quiet demeanor hid the great accomplishments she had to her credit. I know you are proud and will miss her forever. But her love is always around you.

Dear Gina, Ruth, Bruce and Gregg-
I was deeply sad to learn of the loss of your precious mother. When someone you love dies, it leaves an empty spot in your hearts which could never be filled by any other person. Soon, in a new world of god's making, all pain, suffering and sickness will be gone forever. Until then, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so saddened to hear of Virginia's passing. What a tremendous loss to the communities of Mescalero and Tularosa. Virginia welcomed me to Tularosa in 1976 with such grace as only Virginia could. My deepest condolences go out to the fine family she leaves in God's care. My prayers are with all of you during this, your time of need.

Virginia's Family's Love
Her Family's Love is like a tenacious ground cover. Virginia's passing has left a barren desolate void in their hearts, but like that ground cover, their love for each other is going to fill in where it is needed and support each other and continue to grow hardy and unhindered until some day the barren ground of their grief and sorrow will be lush and verdant again and all that will remain will be the sweet memories of their beloved Virginia.

The Ethelbah family sends condolences, good wishes and heartfelt prayers to the family and friends that Virginia leaves behind. I had the privilege of working with her and President Chino back in the 70's when Johnson-O'malley and Title IV funds came under OUR control. I am honored that I knew her.
