Agnes L. D'Aniello

1944 - 2015

BLACKSTONE - Agnes L. (Lee) D'Aniello 71, of Blackstone, died peacefully, with her family at her side, Monday November 16, 2015 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, following an illness. She was the beloved wife of John A. D'Aniello, Sr.
Born September 28, 1944 in Hartford, Connecticut a daughter of the late Ferne H. and Agnes (McNeil) Lee; she was a former Bellingham resident, then moved to Millville in 1970 where she raised her children before moving to Blackstone in 1986.
She attended St. Mary's Elementary School in Milford and she graduated from Bellingham High School in 1962. Agnes worked as a counselor for Alternatives Unlimited in Whitinsville, until her retirement.
Agnes was a "mother" to all who knew her, she was always willing to listen, give advice, and help anyone who needed it. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. Agnes enjoyed shopping, baking, cooking and was a past president of the Millville Republican Town Committee.
In addition to her husband of 49 years, she is survived by her children; Christopher J. D'Aniello and his partner Nicole Anderson of Blackstone, John A. D'Aniello, Jr. of Franklin, Nila E. D'Aniello of Uxbridge and Nadine L. D'Aniello-Carter of Uxbridge, a sister Sandra Greene of Milford and 3 grandchildren, Liliana Carter, Ava Burbine, Kayla Anderson and many nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday Nov. 21st, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Franklin at 10AM.
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
