Alan Roy Obituary

BLACKSTONE - Alan J. Roy, 43, died at home, Tuesday, November 2, 2015.
Born in Woonsocket, son of Frances Roy of Blackstone, MA and the late John Roy.
Alan worked for Classic Billards for several years.
He liked to play card games on the computer and the game Pitch with his family. Alan was also an avid pool player, winner of several events and a Boston Bruins fan.
Besides his mother Frances, he is survived by one sister, Tina and her husband Gary Stothard of Woonsocket. And one nephew, Kevin Lavallee, of Woonsocket.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday morning at 11 AM in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 10-11 AM. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Roy and Tina,

There are no words to express my dearest sympathies. Alan will truly be missed. It's not right to have to lose a child, to that I can attest.

Fran. I am truly sorry for you loss, I know the feeling, when my daught Cheryl went to heaven, I thought my heart would break so believe me, it doesnt go away,it just hurts a little less. God be with you and give you strength to bare this hurt.
