Arthur Barrette Obituary

NORTH PROVIDENCE - Arthur P. Barrette 70, of May St, North Providence, and formerly of Woonsocket, died Saturday, September 15, at home. He was the beloved companion of Sherri Kelly for many years. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Alphonse and Bernadette (Letendre) Barrette. Arthur was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the US Army and later worked as a carpenter for most of his life retiring in 2008. In addition to his companion, he is survived by two daughters: Jennifer Maiello and her husband Ray of Smithfield, and Melissa Olivier and her husband Rob of Cumberland, four grandchildren, and one sister, Lucille Ricci of Lincoln. He was also the brother of the late Claire Levreault, and Rene and Roger Barrette.
His funeral with Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 19, at 11:00 AM in All Saints Church. The family will receive guests at the entrance to the church at 10:30 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: American Cancer Society, Centralized Memorial Processing Center, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701-9376. Arthur was MY Dad also. In the short time he was in my life, I have some fond memories of us doing things together. ❤My condolences go out to his family & friends. Rest in peace Dad!! ❤❤
