Deborah Ann Barrette, age 69, died January 18, 2026, in Gaylord, Michigan. Deborah was born on January 10, 1957, in Pontiac, Michigan, the beloved daughter of William J. Barrette and Norma J. Barrette (nee: Koch). She was the dear sister of Judith Barrette (Douglas Ayres) and Kenneth Barrette. She was also a beloved niece and cousin.

Deborah graduated from Lake Orion High School in 1975. Following her schooling she carried her passion for helping others into working in home health care, providing care and comfort to those around her. She enriched the lives of many with her compassion and support.

During her life she enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida, to spend time with her family. She enjoyed Rock and Roll music and all things related. Additionally, she was an animal lover, sharing a special bond with her beloved cats and her Doberman Rex and Dalmatian Sebastian (Spotty). Deborah was a loyal Detroit Tigers fan, always letting you know when the game was on. She was a perfectionist with a keen sense of style, paying close attention to details.

Her friendly demeanor and ability to connect with people were traits that left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

A memorial is being planned for a later date. Memorial donations in Deborah's name may be made to the Michigan Humane Society, www.michiganhumane.org
