Basil Gudz Obituary
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Basil Gudz, Sr., and Anna (Bukata) Gudz.
Basil worked for the former Consolidated Auto Screens, Woonsocket, and later for Old Dominion Freight Lines, until his retirement. He then worked for Anchor Subaru for four years. Basil was a hardworking man, who loved to tend to his yard. He enjoyed watching the Patriots, Red Sox, and pro wrestling, and really liked to do the Chicken Dance.
Besides his wife, Jeanne, he leaves two sons, Stephen R. Gudz of Woonsocket, and Brian J. Gudz of Lincoln. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Gudz.
His visitation will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 2-4 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Parish, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
