Daniel E. Racicot

1955 - 2022

PUTNAM, CT - Daniel Earl Racicot, 66, of Rhode Island Line Rd., died Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Hartford Hospital. He was the loving husband of 43 years to Sandra L. (Trudeau) Racicot. Born in Framingham, MA, he was the son of the late Earl and Shirley (Flinton) Racicot.

Mr. Racicot worked as a truck driver for Traffic Marking, Inc. for over 20 years.

Daniel Earl enjoyed tinkering, fishing, watching old Westerns on the television but, above all he cherished the quality time that he spent with his family especially his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Daniel Earl is survived by his wife; his children, Andrew Zoruba and Jeremy Racicot both of Putnam; his siblings, Glen Racicot of Millville, MA, Jeanette Cournoyer of Myrtle Beach, SC, Bonnie Rogers and Sharon Kolodziej both of Woonsocket, RI, and Ruth Frazier of Mansfield, MA; his grandchildren, Ariana Payne, Alison Racicot, and Mason Zoruba; and his great grandchildren, Aubreyella and Rhaelani. He was predeceased by his brother, Clifford Racicot and his sister, Alice Tokarski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Daniel Earl's life from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in the Gilman Funeral Home and Crematory, 104 Church St., Putnam, CT 06260 with Military Honors at 6:45PM.
