David Paul Obituary

BURRILLVILLE - David A. Paul, 74, of Burrillville, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2017, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son to the late Joseph and Eugenia (Lamb) Paul.
David was an avid sports fan, reader and card player at Dev's Café. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, campfires and anything outdoors. He spent his youth as an Eagle Scout, playing baseball and football at BHS and subsequently received a scholarship to URI. David was also a bartender and manager at Cappricios, Chalet and the El Dorado Lounge Night Club. In 2012, David retired from the custodial staff at Wright's Farm Restaurant. He enjoyed his time spent sitting outside of Lil General reading his newspaper and visiting the employees at the Town Hall.
He is survived by his loving son; Derek Gross and his nephew; Stephen Leduc and his niece; Karen (Leduc) LaRose. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Deborah "lil Debbie" Leduc.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10th at 7 PM in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 4-7pm. Burial in Inman Cemetery in Harrisville, will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Jesse Smith Memorial Library, 100 Tinkham Lane, Harrisville, RI 02830. www.brownfuneralhomes.com
