David Robert Obituary
A Vietnam Veteran of the Navy Seabees, Mr. Robert was a contractor and owner of D.M. Robert Construction and previously worked for Robert Construction. David was a car enthusiast. He also enjoyed his Harley Davidson, his dogs and was an avid reader and skier.
Besides his wife, David is survived by his two daughters; Erica McReynolds and her husband Andrew of Wayne, PA, Kerry Robert and her husband Jonathan Kilpatrick of Somerville, MA, and his four grandchildren, Corinne and Peter McReynolds and Livia and Rory Kilpatrick. He is also survived by his two brothers; Richard Robert of Hartford, WI and Steve Robert of Huntington Beach, CA and two sisters; Claire Nadeau of North Kingstown, and Julie Chasse of Franklin, TN. He was the brother of the late James and John Robert.
His funeral will be held Friday, April 17, 2015, beginning with visitation at 8:30am followed by a service at 10:00am in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the President's Special Needs Fund at La Salle Academy, 612 Academy Ave., Providence, RI 02908 which supports students in need. www.holtfuneralhome.com

Pleased accept my deepest sympathies in your bereavement. Dave was a great man who enjoyed great stories and who adored his family. He will be sorely missed for his chats, stories and the great work he did to make my home look beautiful. He was a wonderful person.

Dear Jeanne and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss, my husband and I will surely miss his stories and how much he loved his wife and two daughters. He was such a great guy and my children will surely miss his presence especially when he opens his garage door while he sits on his chair and shouts out to the kiddies. He always offered his help, and never complained once. He will surely be missed, you have an angel that will be watching over you.

My deepest sympathies to his 3 loving girls. In all the years I've known Dave he only spoke highly of all of you. He thought he was the luckiest man in the world to have Jeanne for his wife. He could not have been more proud of Kerry and Erica and loved their choices for husbands. I will truly miss you Dave and I will always remember "Why not me" instead of "Why Me". Safe passage my friend.
