Anthony Raspallo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Casper Funeral & Cremation Services on Feb. 20, 2026.
Anthony "Tony" B. Raspallo, 76, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, in Hyannis, MA, surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren.
Born on July 11, 1949, Tony is a cherished Dad and Grandpa and beloved by his family. He leaves behind his wife, Kathleen (Murphy) Raspallo; sons, Brian M. Raspallo and Matthew A. Raspallo and wife Jennifer; and daughter, Meghann M. Smith and husband Brian. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Madison and Molly Raspallo, Roan, Cullan, and Rory Smith. Tony was especially proud of his role as a grandfather, a title he treasured above all.
He also leaves behind his devoted brothers, Kenneth Raspallo and wife Maureen and Michael Raspallo and wife Debbie. Tony loved and was blessed to have many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews that loved and cared for him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Raspallo, Sr. and Lucy (De Fedele) Raspallo, and his brother, Thomas Raspallo.
Throughout his teens and through college, Tony was a skilled guitarist and created his own band. He graduated from LaSalle Academy and later attended the University of Rhode Island. His career was marked by a successful tenure in sales and manufacturing. Initially working in the insurance industry, he eventually founded his own printing company in Rhode Island. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to relocate to Rochester, NY, where he managed a division of Great Lakes Press. Tony remained dedicated to the manufacturing and printing industries throughout his career.
Tony was known for his generous, kind, and loving nature. He was also a quiet and generous contributor to those in need as well as a loyal patriot.
Tony continued the legacy of his family by rooting /cursing for the Yankees and NY Giants. He maintained his old school habit of listening to the Yankees on the radio as he could not stand to watch his beloved Yanks strike out or lose - ever.
His hobbies included golf, which he played for many years with much reluctance and perseverance at Riverton Golf Course in Henrietta, despite his own admission to being a begrudging golfer. His self-deprecating quote "I have never played something so badly for so long ", always made us laugh.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raymond's Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence, RI, followed by Celebration of Life at Bella's Restaurant, Glendale, RI.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association at https://diabetes.org, an organization Tony supported. Tony's legacy of kindness, dedication, and family involvement will be remembered by all who knew him.
