Brian Sypher Obituary

Visit the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory website to view the full obituary.
Brian R. Sypher, 36, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2026. Born in Warwick he was the loving son of Linda (Levin) Ross and her husband Bill, and Elwood Sypher III (Kimberly).

Brian was a lifelong resident of Warwick, a graduate of Toll Gate high School class of 2007, a graduate of CCRI with an associate's degree and then went on to study Journalism and Political Science at URI.

Brian was employed as an Energy Consultant at Trinity Solar for the past eight years.

An avid sports fanatic, Brian was a fan of most of our New England teams. However, when it came to his true love of Football, he was a long time Philadelphia Eagles fan. Brian played football throughout his childhood, starting at the age of six years old playing flag football in Pop Warner and continuing with tackle football in both Pop Warner and Preteen leagues. He continued playing football in High School and was one of the team Captains.

Brian was larger than life with an incredible sense of humor, voracious love for his family and friends, and he was the Pied Piper for all animals.

Besides his parents, Brian is survived by all his loving grandparents, particularly his beloved "Gram Crackers" Leah Levin, his siblings Candi Coughlin, Buddy Sypher (fiancé Megan), Brad Sypher, and Benn Ross (wife Megan). Brian is also survived by his infant nephew Beckett, and Godson Wesley Parkinson as well as many other nieces and nephews, and his dogs, Jesse and Layla.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday February 21, 2026, at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick from 12 to 2 p.m. Brian's burial will be held on Monday February 23, 2026, at 10 a.m. in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, 6365 Post Rd North Kingstown. Those wishing to attend please arrive by 9:30 a.m.
