With great sadness, we announce the passing of Michelle Elizabeth DiPrete on December 22, 2025, in Round Rock, Texas.
Born on July 30, 1985, in Warwick, Rhode Island, Michelle brought joy, laughter, and warmth to those who knew her. She faced life with courage, kindness, and grace. Michelle enjoyed shopping, traveling, and watching her favorite television show, Law & Order. A graduate of Toll Gate High School, she was also a proud member of the Rhode Island Special Olympics, where she won many gold medals. Michelle had a deep love for animals and found happiness caring for her dogs. Above all, she cherished time with her family, especially her beloved nephews.
Michelle is survived by her parents, Edward D. DiPrete, Jr. and Anne Marie DiPrete; her grandmother, Doris Bouley; her sister, Jennifer Hernandez (Harold); her brother, Joseph DiPrete (Katie); and her nephews, Nicolas Hernandez and Alexander and Julian DiPrete.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Marcel Bouley, former Governor Edward DiPrete, and Patricia DiPrete.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island on Tuesday, January 6, 2025 at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
The funeral Mass will be LIVE-STREAMED via the Nardolillo Funeral Home Facebook Page.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA or the American Cancer Society – Breast Cancer Foundation.
