Janice (Cambio) DiPrete passed from this life peacefully Sunday, December 4th, 2022
surrounded by family.
Loving daughter of Ruth Ellen (Chippendale) Cambio and Caesar Thomas Cambio, faithful wife of the late Hon James DiPrete, Jr. and a lifelong Cranston resident.
Devoted proud mother of Jacqueline Ann Zannini (Michael), of Voluntown, CT; Kenneth James DiPrete of Coventry (Caroline Greenblatt): the late Patricia "Tish" DiPrete Handy (Arthur) of Cranston; Ronald James DiPrete (Martha) of New York City and her "third son" Bruce Lane of Warwick; "Mimi's" greatest joy, grandchildren Alexander James Handy and Mia James DiPrete.
Treasured her loyal life's best friends, cousin Gloria DiFolco, the late Carol Malloy and the late Janet Small. Dear cousins Donald Cambio, Patricia DiFolco, Lisa DiFolco and so many more filled her life.
Deepest appreciation to Jan's caring angels, Sherry, Eileen and Jen.
Faith her core, family her heart and fashion her fun. Always a lady, Janice lived life with her characteristic dignity, elegance and humor. She was grateful for life's bounty of blessings, guided her family with just a look, and was happiest surrounded by them. A good listener and ear to lend all, she offered discerning, perceptive advice as needed. She will forever remain deeply loved and the heart of our family. You earned your wings, Godspeed!
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 14, 2022, in the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston, at 10:00am. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 8:00 am to 9:00am at the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
