Eleanor Egan Obituary
Born in Newark, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Albert and Frieda Schmieder, she resided in Seekonk over sixty years. Eleanor was a communicant of the former St. Mary's Church, Seekonk and a member of it's Women's Group.
She leaves a son, William F. Egan and his wife, Kimberly of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; a brother, Herbert Schmieder of New Jersey; two grandchildren, Michael Egan of Atlanta, Georgia and Elizabeth Egan of Boston, Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews.

Eleanor and I worked together at Pied Piper.She was a gentle and caring person in all that she did.I am glad to have known her. My prayers will be for her family.May your memories bring you comfort.

Eleanor was a friend and neighbor. We had many nice conversations over the years sitting at the kitchen table. A very classy, kind and strong woman. Rest in Peace Eleanor.

Sending our sincere condolences to the Egan family. Eleanor was our dear friend and coworker. We all worked together for many years at the school. After the school closed, we formed THE BREAKFAST CLUB meeting about once a month. When Eleanor was no longer able to join us, we still got together by visiting her. She was truly a wonderful person and a good friend to all of us. We will miss her and will cherish the memories of our good times together.
We are so sorry for your loss. We wish you peace and comfort.
