Frank McField Sr.

WOONSOCKET - Frank McField Sr., 82, of Newberry, South Carolina peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the morning of July 26, 2017 at Woonsocket Landmark Medical Hospital.
Frank was born in Newberry, South Carolina and relocated to Woonsocket, Rhode Island in the 1950's making the Ocean State his home. He married the late Barbara Doretha Harmon in 1959 where they had four children.
Frank was a Machinist for Consolidated Print and retired after a longstanding twenty year career. He was a proud and loyal member of the Tyra Club for more than forty years. He enjoyed fishing, spending time and doting on his grandchildren and watching sports with his friends.
He leaves behind two children Patty Lockett of Greensboro, North Carolina and Frank McField Jr. of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Doretha Harmon and daughter Valerie O'Lenda McField. He was a loving grandfather to ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and will be missed by all of his family and friends.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 7 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 4-7 PM prior to the Service. Burial will be private.
