Frederick Shurick Obituary
Frederick served in the U.S. Air Force and was a carpenter by trade, he built many homes in and around Blackstone and served as building inspector for many years. He enjoyed his gardening and camping as well as hunting and fishing.
He is predeceased by his daughter Roberta I. Shurick of Blackstone and his brother William Shurick of Mapleville, RI.
Fred leaves behind his three daughters; Deborah M. her husband Donald Carter, Jane A. her late husband Stephen J. Boxold, Maria C. Shurick, his sister Theresa (Shurick) and her husband Lawrence Ray all of Blackstone, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Fri. June 8, 2018 from 4-8 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge.
Funeral services will be Sat. June 9, 2018 at 9 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM in St. Paul's Church, 48 St. Paul Street, Blackstone.
Burial with full Military Honors will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Gaskill St., Blackstone.
