Harmon Scurry Obituary
Harmon was a Laborer for Forte Brothers and Fleet Construction for several years prior to retiring. He was a member and former President of the Tyra Club for several years. He was also a member of St. James Baptist Church.
Besides his wife Mildred, he is survived by his four children; Glenda Valentine and her husband Garfield of Oxnard, CA, Willie F. Wilson and his wife Mary of Newberry, SC, Gail M. Johnson and her husband Shawn of Woonsocket, and Derrick and Maria Scurry of Woonsocket. One sister, Ulersee Allen of Woonsocket. Fifteen grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Ed, Willie, and ML Scurry, Annie L. Costa and Bea Scurry.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 5 PM in the St. James Baptist Church, 340 South Main Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI is in charge of the arrangements. sdipardomcfh.com

Just a wonderful person. I go back to Uniroyal in 1960 when I first
had the pleasure of meeting Harmon, he emplifies kindness and
love.
