Harold Thistle Obituary
Harry worked as a cabinet maker in the region for many years.
He was born May 18, 1944 in Framingham the son of the late Albert O. and Muriel I. (Despeaux) Thistle and a graduate of Newton-Wellesley Trade School. He was a U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. veteran.
Harry was devoted to his family, was a voracious reader, enjoyed painting, camping and boating, and was a talented woodworker who could produce heirloom quality furniture for family and friends.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, Pam, he is survived by two daughters, Amy M. Thistle, of Millville, and Stacie A. Thistle, of Putnam, Conn.; two sisters, Patricia Thistle, of Framingham, and Florence Martin, of Ashland; three grandchildren, Jacob, CoriAnne, and Mazie, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Sirrico and a brother, George McGill.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, June 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge, MA and again on Saturday morning June 3, from 10 to 11 a.m.
Funeral services, with military honors, will be held Saturday, June 3, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 400 Hemenway St., Marlborough, MA 01752.

Dearr Pam!
So sorry to hear of your loss of your husband!!! I heard from Jessica that he had passed awhile back and wanted to say that you have my sympathy and prayers! I feel sad for your loss!!! One doesn't know what to say but know that I am thinking and praying that you'll find the comfort you need from the Lord in the days ahead. Know that your being thought about and that friends do care and will not forget!!!

Harry was a wild and crazy guy when I knew him back in the 60's. He certainly added life to every gathering, and was a good friend to my brother. There's no doubt he will be missed by all who knew him.
