Joseph Glogowski Obituary
Born in Cumberland he was a son of the late Peter S. and Victoria (Pietraszek) Glogowski. He lived in Cumberland for the past 20 years and was formerly of Pawtucket.
Before retiring Joseph was an Office Machine Repairman for the former Pawtucket Typewriter Exchange of Pawtucket and the Foxboro Co. of Foxboro, MA. He also owned and operated his own office machine repair business.
Joe was a WWII Navy Veteran serving as a Motor Machinist Mate Second Class. He was a member of the Fierlit-Korzen A.L. Post #79 and the Casmir Pulaski Mutual Aid Society of Central Falls.
Mr. Glogowski is survived by his loving family one daughter Dorothy M. Godwin of Belmont, MA and one son Joseph A. Glogowski Jr. of Cumberland, two grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Kumiega, Pauline Dziok and Alice Dziok.
His Funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday June 9, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS THURSDAY FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
