Carol and Family,
Very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband and father.
Joe's passing brings to mind some of our interesting and fun days
while working on the old New Haven railroad. Joe's interesting conversation helped to make the time go by on our night shifts.
He is in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

Dear Carol, Cyndy, Cris, Cathleen, Michael and Family,

I was so saddened by the news of Joe passing and began to think of the time we were fortunate to spend together. Whenever I would see him around at the family and/or local Irish events, he always made me feel "on top of the world" and proud to be a member of the McCabe clan. I will miss the fun loving stories he shared with me about my dad living with their family when he first came to the U.S.. And the many more that followed over the years as they left their youth behind and became proud young men building their careers and starting families of their own. Carol, I loved the way he would call you his bride with that twinkle in his eye and he always spoke of his children and grandchildren with such admiration. We have lost one of the great ones and our hearts will be on the mend for quite some time, but we will carry on with the wonderful memories Joe has left us with.
Love and sincerest sympathy to you all,

Sheila McCabe Chase

Dear Carol and Family.

The many good memories we have of Joe will not be forgotten. He enjoyed talking about the years gone bye. It was always a pleasure to talk with him and reminisce about the good times we all had.

Joe was one of the guys from the corner.
