I'm so sorry for your loss. I have the great pleasure of knowing Joe from the Eleanor Slater Hospital. I had worked in Maintenance. He would come in my workshop everyday and we talked and joked around. He was a great guy, funny, and always a pleasure to talk with. He would always call me like every couple of weeks. I'm going to miss his phone calls. He loved his family.

I worked at the Eleanor Slater Hospital and, each time I passed the pharmacy there, Joe and I would chat. He was always jovial, funny and kind. He always saw the humor--sometimes irreverent-- in situations He was also quick to lend a hand or offer help when he was could. One time, he had returned from a vacation in Acapulco, Mexico and, "it was such a good deal" that he encouraged me to go as well. My husband and I took his suggestion and took the same trip back in 1983, and, to this day, we speak about that trip as one of our favorites. I retired in 1997 and yet, I have never forgotten Joe Roy. . My condolences to his family; he cherished Camille and was so proud of his daughters.
