Joyce Thweatt Obituary
Joyce was a volunteer worker at Seven Hills and Lincoln Senior Center for 10 years. Joyce was a recipient of many awards from RIARC for her volunteering efforts.
She is survived by her two sisters, Sandra F. Almeida and her husband Joseph of Woonsocket, RI and Shiley Berger of Lincoln, RI. One Nephew, Anthony and his wife Ryann Almeida of Northbridge, MA. Two great nephews, Austin and Nathan.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 4 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd, Woonsocket, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 2-4 PM Prior to the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Friendly Home Activity Fund, 303 Rhodes Ave, Woonsocket, RI 02895 or The Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary 266 Mendon Rd, Woonsocket, RI 02895 in Joyce's memory would be appreciated.
Joyce's family would like to thank everyone that had the opportunity to meet and take care of her for the time she spent with them at Friendly Home, and also to the Ladies of Washington Hill Apt. who knew Joyce. sdipardomcfh.com

Sandie, Joe and family ...
Joyce was one of the gentlest, sweetest souls that we had the pleasure of knowing. While she may have been small in stature, she was huge in her heart. Her heartfelt notes that came with her Christmas card were a gift unto themselves. Sean still has his stuffed blue bunny that she gave him as a newborn. Memories of Joyce will always make us smile.
Heaven's gate were surely opened wide for her. May she rest in the loving embrace of God and your parents.

Sandy & Joe I am very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and Prayer are with you. Joyce would always make me smile when she can in the office to visit Sandy. I loved when she would call and say "Sandy this is your sister Joyce" Lisa Glasberg
