Julie Brien Obituary
She is survived by her children Timothy Brien and his wife Dianne, Tommy Brien and his wife Cathy, and Julie Brien. One sister, Leone Reed. Six grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. and her daughter-in law Debra Brien. She was the mother of the late Robert G. Brien. Julie was also the sister of the late Del Lavallee.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 9-11AM. Burial will be private. Donations to the American Heart Association in Julie's memory would be appreciated.

As I set here thinking that I will not be able to be with Timmy, Tommy, Juju and family to celebrate your life. I remember how much you mean to me in my growing up to be who I am today. You where always there for me before I loss my mother and even after her passing you where always there. I will miss talking to you about the plans that I have made for me and my family knowing I could always get you support. Till I see you again mataunt.

Aunt Julie,
It is amazing how we take advantage of seeing someone we love everyday, because you just know they will be there. It really saddens my heart to think that Aunt Julie won't be there anymore. I would come home from work, or just being out, and when I arrived, there was Julie, just like a member of the family. She was so kind to my entire family, but especially to my children. My daughter Genesis misses her most. She was like a Grandmother to her. She would take her places, buy her things, but more importantly, she would love her. She did the same with my daughter NyAsiah. Even more important, I think was the relationship she had built with my mother Ethel. They were more then friends, they were sisters. My mother is so saddened by the loss of Julie, because if nothing more, she would just come to her home and sit with her. Julie was the only person that I know of the could bring her dog to the house and my mother would allow the dog to sit in her bedroom with them.
You are sadly missed by all the people you have touched in my family, and I know that includes the Church family as well. I know we will all meet again, and oh what a party it will be!

I am so sorry for the lost of our family member, friend, servant, care taker, animal lover, children lover, and the list go on and on. Julie will truly be missed and she demonstrated her love and concerns for many people, especially my sister Ethel. I just greeted Julie at Church last Sunday and kissed her on the forehead, and today my heart is sadden because we will miss her dearly. Sleep peacefully Julie, we loved you but God love you best.

So sorry to read of your loss Tommy and Cathy. Didn't know her as well as I would have liked to, but remember all the family get-togethers you had in the back yard and my Daisy was always welcomed by her and the whole family! May she rest in peace---prayers for all of you...so many good memories!

I was so sorry to hear that your Mom had passed.
As you know she was a very big part of our family. My sister Terri and you Mom were best friends.
Also she was Deanna's Godmother.
She sat with my Mom last year for awhile for me. She was wonderful and will be missed.
