Lorraine Ryan Obituary
Mrs. Ryan worked as a Nurse's Assistant for Hospice St. Antoine, North Smithfield for many years. She was a proud supporter of the Blackstone Historical Museum.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Richard Ryan, Jr., John Ryan and Mark Ryan, all of Blackstone and Scott Ryan of Millville; a daughter, Kate Dubuc of Plattsburgh, NY; his sister, Jeannine Carey of Uxbridge, MA; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three siblings, Pierre and Ferdinand Kappelle and Solange Stryk.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In memory of Lorraine the family requests for any memorial donations to be directed to, The Gift Fund, Blackstone Historical Museum, 23 Main Street, Blackstone, MA 01504

You were the best Grandma a boy could have asked for. I'll always remember doing word search puzzles, playing casino games on the Sega, big dinners with the family, and what a good time we always had together. Love you forever.

Sorry to hear of Lorraine's passing. She was my grandmother Pat Chevrette's cousin. I have fond memories of her. She was a sweet woman. My deepest condolences to all her family. Rest in peace.

Although I never met Lorraine, I did enjoy the delicious baked goods that she prepared for every function at the Blackstone Historical Museum.

So sorry for your loss. Lorraine was a wonderful person. She will be missed by many. Will always remember washing and drying dishes with her following a Grange supper!
