Marcel Lefebvre Obituary
Besides his wife, he leaves his children Michelle (Russell) Julien of Seekonk, Carmen (Gerry) Poisson of Cumberland, Marc (Debbie) Lefebvre of Pascoag, David (Jill) Lefebvre of North Smithfield, Marcel (Carol) Lefebvre of Cumberland, Steven (Leslie) Lefebvre of Lincoln, Cheryl (Richard) Dohring of Cumberland; his brother Armand Lefebvre of North Smithfield; his 16 grandchildren, Ryan, Keith, Amy, Kevin, Matthew, Amanda, Julia, Audra, Karissa, Melissa, Ariana, Steven, Gabriella, Zachary and Courtney and four great-granddaughters, Maddison, Braelyn, Rowen and Makenna. He was the grandfather of the late Kyle Julien and brother of the late Paul Lefebvre.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Julien and Doretta (Peloquin) Lefebvre. He resided in Seekonk for the past 11 years, previously residing on Manville Hill Road in Cumberland.
Marcel was employed as a Supervisor for the Ted's Construction Company for over 30 years until his retirement. He was also the owner of the former Marcels BBQ Restaurant in Cumberland.
He was a communicant of the St. Joan of Arc Church, where he served as an Usher, past vice president of the Men's Association, Scouting and CYO Volunteer. He was an avid New England sports fan. Above all his joy in his life was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Friday from 4 to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Roger Williams Cancer Center, 50 Maude Street, Providence, RI 02908.

To all the Lefebvre family,
It is with much sorrow that I see that you've lost your father, grandfather and great grandfather. I feel blessed by my opportunity to have met Mr Lefebvre and the Mrs as well. It was always enjoyable to walk into your home and to greeted as if you were part of the family. Before I even met any of the children my dad would take me with him when he went to Marcel's BBQ. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies and pass along my best wishes to your mother.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Marcel!
Even though our paths haven't crossed in many years since leaving CVS Store Set-up. It was always a pleasure working with Marcel, Marc, & David throughout my Store Set-up years. I will always remember the smile that Marcel could bring to your face when you were having a tough day at work. He will be truly missed by all!
