Marcella K. Degre

WOONSOCKET – Marcella K. Degre, 74, of Woonsocket, died Wednesday January 16, 2019, at home. She was the wife of the late Alfred F. Degre. They were married in 1977 and shared over 20 years together until his passing in 1997.

Born and raised in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Mathew and Edna (Anton) Dyndur. She was a lifelong resident of the city.

Marcella worked at Crystal Craft and later for Northwest Woolen Company for over 25 years before retiring.

Marcella enjoyed playing dice and was always keeping up with her yardwork.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lynne P. Dias and Katherine Dias. She was the mother of the late Matthew Dias, who passed away in 1970. She was the sister of Martin, Peter, Vincent and Walter Dyndur, Pauline Ryan and Carolyn Smith, and the late Joseph, Paul and Stanley Dyndur. She is also survived by her grandchildren Matthew, Jason, Lisa, Brandon, Andrew Dias, Bethany and Bradley Beauregard; nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Services are private. Arrangements are by the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave.. Woonsocket.
