Mildred I. Patrick

1918 - 2016

BELLINGHAM - Mildred I. (Crooks) Patrick, 98, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Milford Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She is the loving wife for 60 years of Carlton L. Patrick, and the late Melvin Graves. Born in Franklin on October 6, 1918, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Phoebe ( Briggs) Crooks.
She is survived by her two sons Ted Graves and his wife, Betsy of Tennessee and Todd Patrick and his wife, Bonnie of Blackstone and daughter Judith Steffens of Florida. She is the mother of the late Patricia (Graves) Phipps, Reginald and Gregory Graves. She leaves her cherished 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is the sister of the late Violet Calzone, Edith Menowski and Chester Crooks.
She was a loving and devoted, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A resident of Bellingham since 1939 formerly of Franklin, MA and she a member of the Franklin High School class of 1936. She traveled around the country, Mexico and Hawaii. She and her husband loved their farm and house in Virginia for 50 years until age and sickness took over and was sold. She had a lingering sickness and was in a lot of pain and confined to a wheelchair for the last nine years of her life.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday October 18th at 11:00AM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Interment in the family lot at the Union Cemetery, Mechanic St. (Rte 140), Bellingham. Visiting time from 10AM to 11AM prior to funeral service. Relarives and friends are invited to attend.
