Muriel Thurber Obituary
Born in Attleboro, MA, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Hall and Jeanette (Fountain) Hall-Doucette.
A homemaker, Muriel was a member of the Lincoln Senior Center and also enjoyed playing bingo.
Muriel is survived by her loving son: Melvin R. Thurber, Jr. of Penrose, Colorado; two cherished grandchildren: Rev. David G. Thurber, Jr., Pastor of St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church in Pawtucket and Amanda M. Thurber; and two daughters-in-law: Suzanne M. Nixon-Ilic and Laureen Thurber.
She was the beloved mother of the late: Steven F. Thurber and David G. Thurber, Sr.; and sister of the late Franklin Hall, Jr.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 9 AM - 9:45 AM in St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
