Olive L. Maynard

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Olive L. (LaClaire) Maynard, 100, of North Smithfield, died February 5, 2023 in South Kingstown Nursing & Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Chester H. Maynard, Jr. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late William and Carrie (Hall) LaClaire.

Mrs. Maynard was a homemaker and active member of the Slatersville Cogregational Church, and at the time of her passing, she was the congregations oldest member.

She is survived by her three children, Derrill Maynard and his wife, Donna, of Hope Valley, Deborah Martini and her husband, Louis, of Sagamore Beach, MA, and David Maynard of Scituate; a sister, Mildred Wowk of Slatersville; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Harold LaClaire.

Her funeral will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 beginning with visitation from 9:30 - 10:30AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a service at 11 AM in Slaters- ville Congregation Church, 25 Greene St., Slatersville.

Burial will follow in Slatersville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
