BLACKSTONE - Patrick E. Carroll, 72, of Blackstone, MA passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Milford Regional Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Milford, MA on February 21, 1943, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Helen J. (Redden) Carroll. He was the loving father of Jeffrey Carroll and his wife, Ashley of West Warwick, RI, Jason Carroll and his fiancé Jackie Lamoureux of Bellingham, MA, Christine Hagopian and her husband, Michael of Southborough, MA, Julie Bailey of Milford, MA and Rebecca Carroll of Woonsocket, RI. He leaves his cherished five grandchildren. He was the brother of Dennis Carroll and his wife, Suzanne of Milford, MA, Kathleen Wright and her husband, Richard of Whitinsville, MA and Maureen Benoit of Uxbridge. He was the former husband of Tina (Tetreault) Carroll of Woonsocket, RI.
A resident of Blackstone formerly of Mendon and Milford, Pat worked as a distribution supervisor at George Weston Bakers of Franklin, MA for 20 years retiring in August of 2007. Previously, Pat owned and operated Carroll Food Service of Mendon, MA and also worked at area restaurants as a chef.
A Communicant and active member of St. Theresa Church in Blackstone and established the 12 Golden Steps Program. Pat was an active member of AA for 36 years working with many area programs caring and helping many. Devoted to his family and friends, Pat will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Church 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone. Interment will follow at Vernon Grove Cemetery, Milford, MA. Visiting hours are on Friday, March 13th from 4 to 8PM at the funeral home. Donations in memory of Pat to the Milford Regional Medical Center, 14 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757 would be appreciated.
