Paul Joseph Trites

1956 - 2015

BELLINGHAM - Paul Joseph Trites, 58, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 in Falmouth, MA. Born in Boston, MA on June 30, 1956, the son of Paul E. Trites and his wife, Elaine of Rotunda, FL and his late mother Anne S. (Navicky) Trites.
He leaves his sons, Paul S. Trites and Gary J. Trites both of Virginia. He was the brother of Donald Trites and wife Christine of Woonsocket, RI, the late David Trites, Kenneth Trites and wife Bernadette Bonetti of Bellingham, MA, Brian Trites and wife Linda of Scottsdale, AZ, John Trites of Woonsocket, RI and Kimberly Butts of Blackstone, MA, and his aunt and uncle Fred and Dorothy Laracy of Branintree along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paul was a resident of Cape Cod formerly of Virginia and Bellingham where he was raised and a graduate of Bellingham High School Class of 1974. He worked in the shipyards in Virginia working on submarines before residing at Cape Cod where he worked as a licensed plumber and tradesman.
Paul was an avid sportsman, he loved the New England sports teams, fishing, golfing, and hunting. He was a member of the Falmouth Elks Lodge #2380 and did a lot of volunteer work with the Elks.
He was a United States Army Veteran attaining the rank of SP4 and received the National Defense Service Medal, Marksman Badge (M-16 Rifle) and the Good Conduct Medal.
Paul will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 4th at 11:00AM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Visiting time from 10:00 to 11:00AM prior to service.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation N.E., 152 Boston St., Suite 1-1, Topsfield, MA 01983.
