Rita Borowick Obituary
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Richard and Rita (Mulvenna) Voisey. Rita lived in Pawtucket most of her life where she truly lived life to the fullest. She loved spending time with her family and many friends. Rita could lighten up a room with her smile.
Before retiring she was employed by the Pawtucket School Department as a Teachers Assistant.
Besides her husband she leaves her loving daughter Kendra A. Borowick of Warwick and her sister Carol A. Buco of Attleboro, nieces and nephews.
The funeral for Mrs. Borowick will be held Thursday March 26, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Leo The Great Church of (St. John Paul II Parish) 699 Central Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS WEDNESDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations in her Memory may be sent to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition 2501 Oak Lawn Avenue Suite 435 Dallas, TX 75219. Donations sent would be greatly appreciated. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI.

Rita was a Sweetheart - very funny, upbeat, courageous. She talked about her Michael and her Kendra quite often. I was saddened to hear about her passing but I think everyone felt fortunate to have had the chance to know her.

Mike and Kendra We will forever remember Rita for her smile, her courage, her strength and of course her witty and hilarious remarks - I always wished I had thought of them! - Like the 'chest of treasures' comment during the first Relay for Life event. I know I am not alone when I say that everyone who knew Rita, or even met her just once, loved her. She had that about her, as do both of you, too, so I know her spirit and love will live on forever.
