Rita Menard Obituary

LINCOLN - Rita B. (Donahue) Menard, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Hope Health & Hospice Care, Providence.She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard R. Menard. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Diane Donahue.
Rita was a resident of Lincoln for the past 40 years and was employed by Texas Instruments as an inspector for 20 years, retiring in 1990.
Rita leaves five children, Raymond G. Menard of Lincoln, Alan R. Menard of Pawtucket, Karen S. Patenaude of Lincoln, Sandra Simonelli of North Providence and Ronald J. Menard of Lincoln; a brother, Robert Donahue of Pawtucket; a sister, Florence Depatie of Rumford; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Doris Poirier and John Donahue.
VISITATION will begin on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by Services at 10 a.m. in the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted the LACHAPELLE Funeral Home, Pawtucket. For online condolences: LachapelleFuneralHome.com
