Robert Biron Obituary
BELLINGHAM - Robert E. Biron, 90, of Bellingham, MA, passed away at home on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Born April 28, 1933 in Woonsocket, RI, the son of the late Arthur and Anna (Rivet) Biron. He was the father of
Gary Biron of VT and his daughter Samantha, and Wayne Biron and his wife, Natalie of RI and their daughter Hailey. He leaves his sisters Rose Marie Rousseau and Irene Paquin both of FL, and was predeceased by his brothers Gerard, Paul and Roland Biron. He leaves his sister-in-law Carol A. Biron of Bellingham, MA, and his nieces and nephews.
Robert was employed at St. Antoine Residence and was a Supervisor of Maintenance for 17 years until retiring.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War attaining the rank of A/3C and received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
He was a member of AARP. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry and working at his home. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Friday, April 26th at 8:30AM from Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St., (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Burial will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham with military honors. Visitation time from 8:30AM to 9:30AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert E. Biron may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
