Robert S. Mowry

1938 - 2020

Robert S. Mowry, 82, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Landmark Medical Center. He is the beloved husband for 61 years of Barbara A. (Cormier) Mowry. Born in Woonsocket, RI on May 7, 1938, the son of the late Clifford and Josephine (Ankiewicz) Mowry. He is the loving father of Wayne D. Mowry and his wife, Barbara, and Steven Mowry and his wife, Lorri, all of Bellingham, MA. He leaves his cherished grandchildren Alexis Schultz and her husband, Patrick, and Beau Mowry. He is the brother of Kenneth Mowry and Donald Mowry both of Woonsocket, RI.
Robert was a lifelong resident of Bellingham and a graduate of Bellingham High School Class of 1956. He worked at Blackstone Valley Electric for over 35 years until retiring as a lineman and crew chief. Robert was a retired Bellingham Volunteer Fireman.
He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling. Devoted to his family, Robert will be greatly missed.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions arrangements are private under the direction of Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St., Bellingham, MA. A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
