Roderick Pratte Obituary
He was born January 6, 1958, in Woonsocket, the son of the late Roderick A. and Jeannette (Lescault) Pratte. He owned and operated Northeast Welding in Manville, and later Northeast Metal Fabricators Inc. in Cumberland, retiring in 1999.
Roddy is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna (Stergios); his brother Henry DiTommaso Jr. and his wife Susan; his beloved mother-in-law, Antoinette Stergios; his brother-in-law, George Stergios, and his wife, Gaye Gentes; his brother-in-law, Augustus Stergios, and his wife, Tina; his brother-in-law James Stergios; his brother-in-law, Peter Hayden; and his nieces and nephews - Alexa, Will, James, Teruha, Olivia, Asaghi, and Colin.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 928 Gibbons Highway (Route 101), Wilton, N.H.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Wilton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, P.O. Box 291, Wilton, NH, 03086.

I always enjoyed Roddy's ability to turn a campsite in to a ornate beautiful home, his talent and boyish love to play with tools will be fun in paradise.

Rod will be greatly missed. Always a smile and something nice to say to us when he saw us out side. He was a great neighbor and we will miss him so much. Donna, if you ever need anything, were here for you. Rod, your forever in our hearts ! I'll miss the red suspenders working across the street.

I will always remember Roddy with those red suspenders. And I will also be grateful to him for building an amazing handrail that made it possible for my aging father to get around his lake house. Thank you Roddy!

I remember all the wonderful times with Rod & Donna, from service to meeting to gatherings.. There was never anyone who could make home made hummus better, always looked forward to this, and the shared recipe. You will be missed Rod, sleep for a while, we will see you again. the kids remember when you gave them the trampoline that we still enjoy 8 years later and watching you jump on it with them was a good memory. Donna my prayers are with you and we look forward to the paradise when we welcome our loved ones back

Roddy was always a ray of sunshine! I will truly miss his smile and kindness he always showed to everyone. My heart is saddened - but also happy that he is no longer in pain and will wake up in health in a paradise world! I hope to be there to welcome him. Donna, my love and prayers are always with you!
